Aftercare

 

Do Not Use

  • Rubbing Alcohol 

  • Hydrogen Peroxide 

  • Before cleaning piercing make sure to wash your hands

  • 1/4 Tsp. of Sea Salt 

  • Fill an 0.8oz cup with warm water and mix Sea Salt with water until it has dissolved  

  • Use disponible Q-Tip or cotton ball to clean piercing

  • Soak piercing for 2 min

  • With Q-Tip clean around the jewelry (DO NOT REMOVE JEWELRY TO CLEAN PIERCING)

Ear Piercings

  • Follow Cleaning Basics OR you can also use Wound Wash or H2 Ocean

  • Do not sleep on piercing 

  • Avoid phone/ headphones

  • Avoid hair/ hair products

  • Do not remove jewelry for about 2-3 months (some piercings may take longer)

  • Do not go swimming for 1 month

Face Piercings

  • Follow Cleaning Basics OR you can also use Wound Wash or H2 Ocean

  • Do Not: apply makeup on or around piercing 

  • NO Face Wash 

  • Do not remove jewelry for 3-6 months. (some piercings may take longer)

  • Healing time varies for each piercing

  • Do not go swimming for 1 month

Body Piercings

  • Follow Cleaning Basics OR you can also use Wound Wash or H2 Ocean

  • Do Not Sleep on piercing

  • FOR NIPPLES: Avoid tight Bras 

  • Keep piercing/s away from other human contact and bodily fluids (i.e. Saliva)

  • Do not remove jewelry for 4-6 months (some piercings may take longer)

  • Do not go swimming for 1 month

Oral Piercings

  • Refer to Cleaning Basics or follow the Alternative Cleaning Methods 

  • Alternative Cleaning Methods: Use Non-alcohol mouth wash OR if you do not have non-alcoholic mouth wash make your own solution:  50% water and 50% regular mouth wash in a cup, mix solution and wash piercing
     

DO NOT  (1-2weeks):

  • NO Smoking

  • NO Drinking Alcohol (of any kind)

  • NO Spicy foods

  • NO Sour foods 

  • NO Full meals (break all food down into small pieces)

  • Keep piercing/s away from other human contact and bodily fluids (i.e. Saliva)

Things to Expect

  • Minor Discharge

  • Crusting or Redness (normal during healing process) 

  • Bruising 

  • Swelling

  • Minor Bleeding/ Spotting 

  • Itching

  • Pain

When to Contact Me... 

  • Extreme Swelling (to the point jewelry is sinking into skin)
